every day as prescribed followed by 7 reminder pills. All
tablets should be taken daily as prescribed at the given time without a miss.
Usually women prefer to take after evening meal or before going to bed so to have
either less or no side effects like headache, nausea etc. Once you finished the
21 days pills, start taking reminder pills. If your period starts from Sunday
coincidently, begin taking active pill from Sunday even if bleeding continues.
What to do if you miss to take Marvelon birth control
pills?
Marvelon birth control pills are meant for daily dosage as prescribed
by your doctor. However, should you miss to take pills, please take necessary
steps as mentioned below. A) If you miss 1 active tablet
Take
it as soon as you remember. Take another tablet as scheduled. In that case, you

as prescribed until Sunday. On Sunday, throw out the rest of the pills and start

- you will need to use other backup birth
control methods (such as condoms, spermicide or diaphragm) for next 7 days. -
your menstrual cycle will be changed what it would be otherwise.
- if you
miss your periods for consecutive two months, consult your doctor or health provider,
you might be pregnant.
D) If you miss 2 active pills in WEEK 3 or miss
3 or more active pills in a row during the entire cycle:
- throw-out the rest
of the pills
- start the new cycle pack on the same day
- you will need
to use other backup birth control methods (such as condoms, spermicide or diaphragm)
for next 7 days. - your menstrual cycle will be changed what it would be otherwise.
- if you miss your periods for consecutive two months, consult your doctor

E) If you
miss to take 7 "reminder" pills in WEEK 4
1. Throw out the missed pills. You
do not need to take missed inactive pills.
